Its own tagline is “Legal research you can follow,” and that is the shape of it: you can see where an answer came from and follow it back.
Research you want to keep, you keep. The site is built around saving what is useful and returning to it, and from saved research you can develop professional work — which is where most legal questions are headed anyway.
It suits people who read the law for a living or need to: lawyers and their staff, people working through a matter, anyone who wants the authorities in front of them instead of a conclusion. It is a research tool. It does not stand in for a lawyer’s judgment.
